ABOUT ME

     My name is Julie and I am from Southern Illinois. I have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and seven years experience in the engineering field. I have always enjoyed making and crafting things since I was a kid playing with blocks. You can imagine my excitement when I got older and could make my own "blocks" out of wood and build things I only imagined as a child. With the very limited job market in my area, I decided to turn my hobby into a career. With prayers to God and the support of my loving husband of twenty-five years, I opened Spikey Wood Works.
